I joined BFM because i found the subjects to be very interesting and really enhancing which allowed you to learn something new and was also very practical at the same time. As i have done BFM now, I plan to do CFA because i feel its very similar in terms of the subjects covered as well as takes our learning to a new level of what we have studied in our graduation.

2) How does it feel to be a Topper of the college in TY Sem V exams?

It feels nice and certainly proud to be a topper as its a very good way to reflect your liking for the course.

3) Whom will you credit your success to?
To each and everyone who have always supported me. My parents, teachers and friends who have always encouraged me to do well and strive for success.

4) Did you start preparing from the first day of your TY Sem V?
To be honest….No!!!! But certainly paying attention in college will help you complete half of your studies in the college itself. and then studying two months before your exams daily will certainly do good.
5) How did you study for Sem V?
All the practical subjects which have lots of sums(eg. Forex Market, Risk Management), you need to solve a lot and understand all the minute and basic concepts which will help in solving the sums better. As far as theory subjects are concerned , understand the concepts and theories well and try writing it in your own words.

6) Which are the easy subjects in Sem V?

Basically all, provided you study them well.

7) Any special way of writing the answers? Do you write answers in bullet points or in paragraphs?

Writing answers in bullet points is very beneficial because the examiner will understand your answers better and thus can score well.It also makes your answer more neat and presentable as compared to writing in paragraphs.

8) How do you crack case studies in theory and practical subjects?

Knowing your concepts and theories well will help racking the case studies. Analysis of the situation is very important.

9) Did you draw any diagram in any paper? Is it mandatory? Does it help to get more marks?

Drawing diagrams where necessary is important as it leaves a good impression on the examiner and tells him that the student knows the subject well. Yes diagrams do help in scoring more in answers.

10)Any specific study pattern adopted i.e. timetable / how many hours per subject per day etc.?

Allot time accordingly to every subject. Minimum of 5-6 hours of studying is important .

11) How do you fight against mood swings and distractions during exam preparation?

Distractions need to be curbed because you need to think about the future and what you need to do in the present to achieve it. So there is no way distractions can come along .Take appropriate breaks in between studies as it will help you stay fresh and relaxed and also don’t overload yourself with studies as that will lead to stress and tension.

12) If you are made the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, what changes would you like to initiate in Indian education system?

Nothing as such. But just one advice will be to make study curriculum more fun and a interactive process which will help students develop a love for the subject and the course.

13) Many students prepare sincerely but constantly live under fear that they are not from big college / not from English medium and eventually lose confidence. What message would you like to these students?

I would like to advice such students to overcome these fears by removing this thought process which is a mental block. Whichever college or school you are from it doesn’t matter .Just study hard and concentrate on your efforts and the rest will be taken care off.

  14) Through this struggle and success, what have you learned? What is the wisdom of life and competition?

Life will have struggles but you need to overcome them in order to succeed in life. Have faith in your abilities and stay focused in your endeavors.  Don’t be dejected by failures as they will teach the hard path to success and also will give you motivation to overcome your failures and do well in life.

15) Your feedback for BFM.co.in?

You are doing quite a good job in motivating students in order to prepare them and mould them for not just these exams but also many other competitive exams they have to face.
